Dissolving or Evolving

Photogrammetry used not as an instrument of precision but of expression — capturing the emotional and metaphysical essence of a subject rather than its surface.

Working with techniques celebrated for their detail, the artist deliberately introduces errors during the scanning process.

These purposeful distortions do more than create abstract form: they dissolve the boundaries that define faces, bodies, objects and spaces. As the elements deform, the question of whether they are dissolving or evolving stays open.

This act of dissolution evokes a sensation of entities melting into a greater digital energy, as if each subject, losing its distinct form, taps into a more universal essence, reminiscent of atoms merging into the vast expanse of the cosmos. The images become visual metaphors for decomposition and rebirth, entities disbanding only to unite with something grander, prompting reflections on the interconnectedness and impermanence of existence, and on the cyclical nature of life.
