Isabel

Isabel. Buenos Aires, Fall 2014. Painting, Oil on canvas, Size: 47.2 W x 39.4 H in (120 W x 100 H cm).

So humble a visage:amongst reverent murmursthe Catholic Queen Isabella rides.

How appropriate: her face a font of grace, pliant nose a sheer peak, a razor’s edge of Pyreenic granite coated in cold frosts.

Dash on! To forge a Kingdom as magnificent as the mountains inherent in her blood.
