Make a pose

Balmist built professional sets inside parties and brought people together in front of them — guests could step in, make a pose and be photographed with the attention usually reserved for editorial work. The images were theirs to download from the web afterwards and share across the social platforms of the time, which in turn promoted the event.

Shot for events including MoveOn and Johnnie Walker, and on commission for model agencies such as Pancho Dotto and clothing brands including 1972.
