aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer">

From 19 June to 15 July 2021 Florencia S.M. Brück, Javier Krasuk and Harro Schmidt presented Feedback_Society, an immersive installation for ARCHE- Architecture of the Universe, Pavilion 03, curated by Tomasz Wendland and Harro Schmidt. The installation was shown at GAD Space 04, the former glass factory of the Giudecca Art District in Venice, with the support of Isorropia Homegallery.

Conceived during the months of isolation, the work starts from a simple observation: when human contact shrinks, the idea of the future comes from looking inward. Analog and digital monochrome projections suspend the usual limits of gravity, scale and time in an endless loop, redefined by optical simulations that react to whoever is in the room. Visitors see themselves from behind and upside down, and that delayed feedback slowly shifts their sense of themselves, placing them in a present that is always offered and always displaced. The visitor becomes the subject of the work.

The three artists first worked together at the 2019 Venice Biennale on the generative installation Far From Home.

ARCHE- took its title from the Greek arché, the first principle from which all things originate, and read today’s architecture of information as a way of thinking about the universe in both material and metaphysical terms.

[97,98

post-4001","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog","category-digital
["GET
