The Kunstverein Kunsthalle Hannover presented Replication<\/em>, an extensive multimedia project at the Kesselhaus Linden. Its subject is replication, or reproduction: as in viral processes, the ability of a system to make copies of itself. The artists used the replication of digital data and algorithms to build complex structures of generative art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title held together the four works shown on each side of the boiler house over three evenings in October. Marjam Oskoui and Anne Nissen worked mainly with rear projections from inside, through the windows on the east and west sides; the guest team Br\u00fcck \/ Krasuk and Harro Schmidt projected complex visual worlds from outside onto the north and south sides, accompanied by sound and soundscapes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
