A New Horizon Unfolds: Venice, Riyadh and the Legacy of Marco Polo ran from 6 May to 6 June 2025 at the L’Art Pur Foundation in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the Società Dante Alighieri. It opened with an event at the Italian Embassy and Residence on 5 May, after an Italian preview on 15 April at the Settecento Hotel in Presezzo, on Made in Italy Day.

Curated by Giacomo Marco Valerio of Area35 Art Gallery, the exhibition retraced the voyage of Marco Polo through three artists. Florencia S.M. Brück presented works from AI Futuristic Narratives in Historical Artistry, a collection that joins Persian visual traditions, artificial intelligence and engraved poetry, and a video installation that drew the three practices into a single audiovisual piece. Manuel Bonfanti showed In the Middle of Now Where, a 33 m² canvas in volcanic reds, and Unveiled Space. Federico Garibaldi showed four large photographs and two videos from his blueShores series on Mediterranean coastlines.

The L’Art Pur Foundation, founded in 1999 by H.R.H. Princess Adwaa bint Yazid Bin Abdallah, offers more than 540 m² of exhibition space. The project was promoted by Cypher, a cultural association based in Monte Carlo, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the Società Dante Alighieri, the Comune and Provincia di Bergamo, Confcommercio Bergamo and Aedificante Onlus.

Also shown: Crimson Resonance, a collaboration with Manuel Bonfanti.
