Urban Heart — AI Opulence

For two days Urban Vision suspended every advertising campaign on its screens, turning them into an open-air video art exhibition.

In “AI Opulence — Let them eat AI!” two AI-generated women stand with their eyes closed, imagining the future; one poses her hand in search of AI’s human heart. They wear extravagant wigs styled after Marie Antoinette’s era, adorned with flowers, fruits, clocks, planets and animals — a prosperous era of technological advance, space exploration and respect for the planet.

Whimsical as the images are, they carry a caution: just as the excess of Marie Antoinette’s court led to famine and suffering, the work argues for responsible innovation rather than a repetition of past mistakes. Each display carries a unique wig decoration; the works are animated, registered as NFTs, and come with a signed physical print.

Urban Heart was conceived, designed and produced by Urban Vision: on 12 and 13 June every advertising campaign was suspended and the maxi-LED screens of Milan, Rome, Naples and Catania were given over to video art.

It is an unprecedented initiative that will see numerous contemporary artists exhibit their works in all the cities where Urban Vision is present: the maxi led screens in Milan, Rome, Naples and Catania will aim to inspire and truly engage everyone through the language of art.
