NFTs release on SuperRare
On 7 May 2022 Florencia S.M. Brück minted two Tension and Interlude NFTs on SuperRare: real paintings, photographed and animated with 3D software and programming language, with sound sensors that move the ink in accordance with the music. Music in collaboration with the composer Andrea Vanzo.
Alongside them is the Out-of-Body NFT, a derivative work from her 2020 exhibition at the Kunstverein Kunsthalle Hannover. Created by Florencia, performed by Laura De Luca, with music by Alessandro Branca, Out-of-Body is a co-creation journey and one of the world’s very first generative art NFT performances. With NFTs, unique performances can be crystallised and owned where otherwise they would be intangible; blockchain technology may propel performance art into a new age, as it has done in the visual art market. Minted on 7 May 2022.
