THE SPECTRUM OF RESILIENCE

An evocative soundwave visualization by Florencia S.M. Brück, this artwork captures the powerful words spoken by survivors of acid attacks, transforming their voices into a tangible representation of strength and endurance. Each wave echoes a story of survival, creating a bridge between personal tragedy and collective empathy. These artworks are not only a tribute to the resilience of these individuals but also a beacon of hope and awareness, inviting viewers to connect with their journeys on a profound level. Through this art, we aim to amplify their voices and support their path to recovery and reintegration into society. Artist Florencia…

AREA – Flow through the colors {match with the star}

Rubinetterie Stella, alongside artists of international renown, explores the magic of water through the installation “Flow through the colors {match with the star}” during the Milan Design Week 2024. Conceived by The Meraviglia agency and designed by Elena Pelosi, this installation highlights the unique and precious nature of every water droplet, protected by the SIDE collection faucets, designed by Meneghello Paolelli. Through colors, scents, sounds, and lighting effects, this installation unfolds across five emotional spaces, each representing the remarkable color variations that water assumes in five of the world’s most unique and remote locations. Each “island” within the installation emerges…

Connektome Project

Drawing inspiration from philosopher Byung-Chul Han’s exploration of fatigue in capitalist societies, this project delves into the pressing issues of burnout and the ensuing loss of meaning. As an interdisciplinary artist with a background spanning various practices, I meld the realms of art and technology, aiming to capture the tension inherent in the interplay between human cognition and artificial intelligence. This evolving collection began with interpretations in photography and magazines, and has since expanded to include 3D sculptures, immersive video narratives within virtual realms called “Metaverse Archaeologist”, generative art displays, and the transformative wave of NFTs. My ambition is to…

Lviv, View from Inside – View from Outside

Performance and sculpture works based on the theme of “Lviv, View from Inside – View from Outside”, led by Andrzej Welminski,Venice, Palazzo Zenobio. 2018 Hardly any other city is as much a projection screen of dreams, transference and traumas as Lviv. For some, Lviv is the city of the Austrian Monarchy culture, writers and philosophers such as Bruno Schulz, Josef Roth, Sholem Aleichem. And we identify with their art and writing. For others, Lviv is the city of the coexistence of many peoples, Poles, Jews, Armenians and German speaking. For others, Lviv means easing their feelings of shame of being…

Whitening Objects

The form is so strong that even if I remove their colors they still have an identity. Change in context produced no change in accuracy, suggesting that access to memory for object color is independent of shape and texture information. Color seems to be an independently accessible feature of memory representation rather than an integral part of a prototypic representation. When things do not have a use anymore I just paint them white like if by removing their color they became invisible, but the objects are creating their own stories anyways.
